I have a Gateway G6-300XL, 64mb RAM, 6gb HDD and a SB AudioPCI 64 (upg from Ensoniq AudioPCI with driver from Gateway). I would like to record my CDs and MP3s to my cassette deck in my stereo system. But when I try, the cassette deck's record level sliders have to be set at maximum, and even then the levels are still too low, and the sound is very digitized with many audio dropouts. I have tried every combination, (ie both line outs), that I can think of, but still no luck. Has anybody found a solution to this problem? TIA J.T.
