is there a manual for this model Sound Blaster that can be downloaded
anywhere?
Creative's website doesn't have one (presumably as it's an old ISA bus card)

This is a ViBRA 16X model. It differs from other ISA-bus Creative
products in that it uses two low DMA channels for everything,
not one high and one low. However, it has the big advantage
that it can do full-duplex operation with 16 bits in both directions.
(All the others require one way to be 8 bits.) It works by sending
16-bit data as two 8-bit transfers.

I don't know where to download a manual, but I'll be glad to look up
specific info for you.
