Hi,
I am trying to install a ADS Tech PCI card with 2 USB ports on Win98SE. I
have 3 pci slots, one has SBLive Value in it. Adding USB card screws up
SBLive. Sometimes SBLive isn't even recognized at boot, other time it is,
but when Windows starts all you hear is static. I have tried moving the
card to different slots. The SB Live only works at all in slot 1 or 3,
never in slot 2; nothing but static from it then. Any ideas? Thx!

Move the various cards into different slots and see if that helps. It
often does.

Is there a PNP OS flag in CMOS setup? If so change it.

You mgiht want to try to upgrade your BIOS.

Yes, it is set to "no" PNP OS now, because when I tried setting it to "yes"
my NIC stopped working...
