I've recently installed the drivers for the ProAudio Spectrum 16, which
seemed to work great - until I tried to use Windows 3.1. Windows
sounds play OK, but when I launch a game from under Windows it
says "the adlib card is in use". I downloaded the latest drivers
(1.44), but to no avail. Any ideas?
Also, what's with the speech? The speech from "Gods" doesn't come
out during the intro ('into... the wonderful...'), neither do the
Street Fighter 2 samples work (although the music does). Any
advice is appreciated...

FWIW - I had a similar problem with Ultima Underworld - music but no
speech on my PAS+. The problem was that it configured itself for IRQ 5, but
the program insisted on IRQ 7 - conveniently conflicting with COM.
