I have a user at a field site who needs to make UNIX TAR compatible exabyte tapes from his PC. He has an Adaptec #AHA1520 SCSI board and a 2.3 Gb exabyte (8mm) tape drive. The software he has can read and write tapes, but not in TAR format. What software can be recommended to do this? Please respond by email to "matheson@open.dal.ca".
