I've hooked up a VT220 to my COM2 port, with the hope of sending some debugging information to it, and maybe even a remote terminal under Windows. The problem is, if I even do something simple such as dir >COM2 I get a write fault error on COM2. The same thing happens from C. This is before and after loading Windows, and with or without SHARE loaded. I've used MODE to set it to 9600, 8N1. It works from a terminal program or the DIAGS program, so there must be something simple I'm overlooking. If you know what that something is, please email me! Thanks.... Dave
