help with PC Tools

Hello Netters,

I'm working with an old version of "PC Tools" and every time I try
to use it on my hard drive I get the error message 

"Unknown media type"

My drive c: is split up into logical drives

c:	primary DOS partition
d:	extended DOS partition
e:	extended DOS partition
f:	extended DOS partition

Anyone out there seen this problem and have a solution.  I remember using
this on hard drives from ~4 years ago.  Am I missing something somewhere
in a control file (ie. config.sys). Please E-mail replys to me.
