printing EXCEL spreadsheets using APPLESHARE

I am using EXCEL on an AT and am connected to APPLESHARE and then to a
laser printer.  

I would like to know how to send spreadsheets to the printer.

Normally, if the printer is directly connected to the printer one just 
issues the printe command.

However this does not work with APPLESHARE.

So, can I send the output to a file instead, and then send the output
(postscript) file to the printer?

Please help me.
