Reading two keys at once

Hello
I need to read the keyboard directly so I can determine if
two keys are being pressed at once. I will need to know what
ports to call and how to interpret the data. I except to replace
the normal keyboard interrupt and not use the keyboard buffer. Any
suggestions?
