Hello all...I have an interesting question: I have a GUS and I love it. I am awaiting the new packages to be bundled with the GUS to start playing with making my own music. My question is this: I don't have a MIDI controller (a keyboard) and do not have the $$$ to get one. However, I have played with the KBMIDI program and it provides a decent way to input MIDI data to a program. Is there any way that I can actually record the MIDI data that KBMIDI poroduces into the MIDI sequencer I would be running? Thanks... -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Al Dhir Technical Consulting Staff Internet: adhir@cygnus.umd.edu University of Maryland, College Park Bitnet: adhir%cygnus.umd.edu@Interbit (301) 405-1500 * (301) 405-3014

You can get a used midi keyboard for 40$. Who cares what sound it
produces, you have a GUS! Of course it will be a 3 octave keyboard without
touch sensitive keys, but hey it will sure be better than KBMIDI!

I think i may have something. But as you know i have problems uploading so
i rarely upload huge files (i have lots of stuff like patches that i will
need to upload at one point or another...). So dont hold your breath, and
do check your local music shop.
Ciao,
