I have a friend who has just tried to install STACKER v2 onto his
PS/2 30-286 - running DOS 5.
It seems to have installed correctly ie. No error messages at install.
The CONFIG.SYS file has been modified with the following added :-
	DEVICE=C:\DOS\STACKER.COM D:\STACVOL.DSK C:\STACVOL.DSK
	DEVICE=C:\DOS\SSWAP.COM D:\STACVOL.DSK
	DEVICE=C:\DOS\SSWAP.COM C:\STACVOL.DSK /SYNC
He has a hidden file called STACVOL.DSK on drive C:
However, when he issues STACKER D:=C:\STACVOL.DSK the following error
message appears :-
	D:=C:STACVOL.DSK
	STACVOL FILE TO FRAGMENTED
	- NOT MOUNTED
If we TYPE STACVOL.DSK we get :-
	STACKER VERSION 2 VOLUME A:\STACVOL

Needless to say, there is data in the stacvol.dsk file that he hasn't backed
up. :-(  (Typical isn't it.)

Can anyone tell me what the errors mean ? (I haven't got the manual)
How can I de-install stacker so as to get the data back ?
Failing that, how do I defragment the file if I can't mount it ?
Why if I type the file does it say A:\STACVOL ?

Any help at all would be appreciated. Please e-mail.
