hi, i have recently purchase a 486slc machine....and i was wondering
why is it some software that i run in my 286 without any problem
will hang in my new 486 machine? the problem is when i run those program
it will hang immediately and some program will hang half way.
i did not encounter such problem in my old 286 machine until i
have those few program running on a 486.

is it true that those software is not portable to a better performance machine?
or is it something else?
thanks in advance for your advice.
