I'm working with a program at may PC at the Rogaland University Center in
Stavanger, subbandcoding. The question is: Can the coprosessor work alone, a
sort of parallell processing, or will the main processor stop and wait until
the co-processor is finished ?

I have to know this because I'm going to optimalize the program so it will
go much faster then the JPEG standard !!!

If i program in assembly direct in the C-program source, will it go much
faster ? If I program the coprocessor direct (f_xxx ), will that go much
faster than else ???

Please Answer Me
