Micro Industries MIL-STD-1553B board

This seems to be the closest newsgroup I can find for this question -- if
you know of a more appropriate group, please let me know!

I'm trying to use a Multibus II 1553 communication controller board from
Micro Industries (their 186/153 board). I'm having some difficulty getting
their factory firmware to work properly. Has anyone out there ever used
this board or know anyone that has?

Micro Industries' technical support is not the greatest. I'm getting the
feeling that whoever wrote the firmware (and even designed the board) no
longer work there, and some support person has to try and figure out my
questions.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
