There are at least two. The first is from Intel intself, while the second is
from Archimedes. I own the Archimedes C compiler and assembler, and if I had
to do it over, I would never have bought it. I purchased their toolkit
at the time because the code generation of the Intel compiler was horrible.
This check of the Intel compiler was made in late 1989, with version 1.x.
Intel may be up to v3 or v4 at this time, so check it out for yourself.
I do know that the Intel assembler was very good, and in may ways superior
to the Archimedes. I know, I have used both. The Intel tools are more expensive,
but you get what you pay for. I will _never_ recommend Archimedes to anyone
for anything.
