We think the most important rules of our jumperless motherboard are we
try to make personal computer more comsumerized.
What's home PC? The answer is easy. Users have full confidence to
upgrade their PC by themselves without any[or with less] technical
background. They can select the best timing to buy the best
cost/performance CPU.
Therefore, we try to collect all of necessary spec. of Pentium motherboard
and put it into our design. please refer to the following spec.
1. Jumperless for CPU setting : We implement a "software jumpers" instead
of hardware jumpers. Users even can find the same string between our
setup utility and the characters printed on the CPU.
2. Implement a three regulators with heat-sink design for all CPUs.
3. adopt AMP or Molex ZIF CPU socket, the top two suppliers, to accodomate
the over-heat problem from Cyrix/IBM processors.
4. using a Re-new fuse for keyboard interface.
5. support 4 PCI and 4 ISA slot and allow at least one long add-on card
for ISA/PCI.
6. built-in 512 P.B Sram,no upgrade needed.
7. support all CPU clock(ie. 75 for P200+),voltage(ie. P55C),
multipliers(ie, 3x,3.5x of M2)
8. 2 DIMM and 4 SIMM
We try to make a perfect consumer Pentium motherboard. Welcome to give
us any new ideas if you didn't found your desired features in our specs.
To prove the reliability and compatibily, We also summited our board to
NSTL(National Software Testing Lab) for further certification. We expect
they can finish all testing before end of this year.
