man i don't get it, you guys slander each other over nothing.......here is
a little table to help you guys out...i'm not being a smartass, but i just
can't stand it when someone blurts out the wrong thing in a quick post:

intel is intel, is intel, is intel.......pwhatever is a pentiumwhatever
amd has a story behind their chips....when the intel pentium chip came out,
amd was shocked that they got it on the market very quickly.....when amd
got wind of this, they quickly suped up their 486 and made the 5x86-120,
and 5x86-133....these chips have 486 pinouts, voltages, and the same sizes
with different clock speeds... now when amd finally got their head out of
their ass and started messing with research and development, they developed
the K5 chip series also known as the 5k86...just to confuse the people of
the world(i can see they've succeeded)....these come in K5-75, K5-100, and
K5-133......these chips have pentium pinouts so they will work in pentium
motherboards just like a pentium....though benchmark tests proved them to
be slower than the rest, amd was happy to have a foot in the door (more
like a finger in the slamming door).....well, then when cyrix came
along....a split second after intel's pentium, they blew the doors off of
them both.....all in all, look for a p-rating......this is how
manufacturers compare their speeds by a p-rating benchmark test.....just
for your information, the 5x86-133 runs JUST AS FAST as a pentium
75.......so if you wanna save some bucks in the short route, buy a 5x86-133
in the long run, the intel pentium is your best bet........any questions,
e-mail me, any flames....hey man we are all entitled to our opinions, just
don't SHOVE yours down my throat.....and to the original poster of this
message, sorry you had to get dicked around by the rest of the world, but
hey i guess this is life
