A relative of mine who works for Intel thinks that the P6 will not put
the same pressure on pre-P6 chips as was the case with the P5 roll-out.
Distributors I've spoken to indicate they are expecting perhaps a 25%
price drop in the lower-end chips (P/75) through 1996, but
only about half of that for the higher-end chips (P/120+).
I'd say "go for it" whenever you come to a good deal; don't specifically
wait for the "drop".
P.S. gary's prices, above, are definitely a "good deal" :->...
