8749 Emulator needed

We are looking to rent or buy (if cheap enough) an in-circuit
emulator for the 8749 chip.

We have a small contract to develop software for a chip in an embedded
board.  We are trying to debug this thing with nothing more than pulsing
various pins to let us know which logic we are passing.  

Not getting very far very fast.

We may need an emulator to get somewhere--perhaps someone has an old
one around that they aren't using--having upgraded to more sophisticated
chips.  We do have some money to pay for the
rental, but would like to do better than the prices
that outfits like Leasametrics.
