I need a very very very easy to read, ie well written, but technically accurate, book or piece of software (ideally the latter) which explains the principles of CPU operation - - Idelaly something which also puts the whole issue in the context of Turing Machines and the history of computing. Something better than PC TUTOR software. I need it for teaching purposes. -- David Longley
