I just studied a PKWARE conversation on comp.compression (copied from CompuServe) which claims external cache problems with some 386/486 configurations. PKWARE claims it is the cause of their CRC errors. If this is true what is the safest way to get rid of this problem in my own software. In other words. - how can I force a cahce update - how can I disable the cache Anyone having more info on this subject?
