Secondary Storage I/O on Paragon

In a recent product overview at the University of Texas at Austin, Intel
representatives described some features of the Paragon system. One
of those features was the file system and the discussion included
some mention of the auto-parallelization features it has.

Have parallel IO and the Paragon file system been discussed on this net?
If so, does anyone have a copy of some of the postings? If not, does
anyone have a pointer to good documentation to the parallel IO features
of that system? NOTE! I'm not particularly interested in the
hardware; it's the user API that I'm interested in.

Thanks
