I plan to add more capacity to the RAM of my 386DX computer. According
to the manual, the SIMMs I should use is 1Meg*9 80ns. But when I went to the
market, I found out that there are 3 chip and 9 chip SIMMs. My question is
how to tell which chip I should use and what the difference between them is.
My second question may sound silly. What is the difference between 1 Meg
VGA card and 256k VGA card in terms of performance?
I hope I post in the right group. Thanks in advance.
