Nobody responded to my little joke that the plural of "pentium" should be "paragon" (philistines!). But there was actually a shred of a serious question in there. I remember reading on this newsgroup that pentium was supposed to be a replacement for the '486 and the '860, from which I infer that a future paragon could be based on pentium. Clearly Intel will not continue to use the '860 as the paragon processor indefinitely; can anybody comment on what they are considering for future machines?
