Infra Red and Intel Advanced EV Board

I'd like to be able to transfer data from a Thnkpad to my main desktop via the Thinkpad's Infra Red port. There is some talk in the Intel Endeavour Board manual which says the Infra Red feature is not implemented. How can it be implemented? What do I need to buy? -- David Longley
