IRQs and Endeavour Board & W95

After much experimentation over many months I think I am about to
admit defeat trying to get a network card to work in the
following system. If anyone can suggest a way round it, please
let me know:

Endeavour Socket 7

          Vibra 16 - IRQ 5
PCI 1 AHA2940 - IRQ 10
PCI 2 MGM Millenium - IRQ 11
PCI 3 empty
PCI 4 Miro DC20 - IRQ 9

ISA 1 - empty -
ISA 2 - empty -
ISA 3 - either WD8003 or DEC Etherworks/Turbo 3

COM 1,2 use IRQs 4 and 3
LPT1 uses IRQ 7

Whatever I do, I can't get an interupt for the network card. IRQ
2 cascades to 9, so that conflicts with the DC20 if I try and use
the WD8003 (which allows IRQ 2,3,4,5,6,7), and whilst I can
disable IRQ15 for the secondary IDE under W95 SYSTEM, the DIGITAL
network card (which can use IRQ 5,10,11,15) just can not be given
a spare interupt without reporting a memory problem as well).

I presume this is your system? How do you STOP the MGM from grabbing IRQ 11?

Hi David.

I am not familiar with the Endeavour motherboard but I guess that LPT1
is on the motherboard itself, so if you've not already tried it, I think
that IRQ 7 may be used providing LPT1 is setup as a standard port and
not as an extended capabilities port in the CMOS setup.

Regards.
