A problem friends xmas toy/games P5-100 m/c or RAM.
I suggested Christmas pudding. Didn't help it.

The kids threatened to load more MS s/w ... <sick kids these days>

o W4WG - Can install drivers (SBPro/CL) but on reboot the m/c hangs
every time. C-A-D fails. On loading win again, it plays .5
sec of "tada", draws a bit of Prog Man window & hangs.
       - Access A: (floppy in) light comes on, Win hangs. C-A-D fails.

o Installing from floppy - W4WG - hangs at disk 3,4 or 5
                         - W95 - hangs at disk 2
(Only way is to install W4WG from the hard disk).

o DOS - Fine - accessing floppy, running games off CD/HD.
One HIMEM error: "Unreliable Memory Address" once.

o H/W:
  RAM - 2x 4MB 72-pin
      - SCC-Korea, 534Y, KM416C1200AJ-7 Supposedly EDO, are they?
SBPro - known to be ok. Remove SBPro (vanilla PC) still probs.
Floppy - Known to be ok.

I think this is a m/b (DMA fault) rather than RAM?
(Tried usual simm/card reseating etc).
