Search for OS9/68K information

I am looking for information on OS9/68K. I have a VMEbus based embedded
control system that could use a facelift. I need information on the available
or portability of OS9 (or other alternatives) for such systems. This system
is basically a loosly coupled multiprocessor implementation with shared
memory. How hard is it to write device drivers for boards? Context switch
time? etc., etc.

Thanks in advance for any info or pointers

The above are my opinions, which NCR doesn't really care about anyway!
