Hi all,
In one night I received a lot of e-mail on my 68k SBC.
This is the last day that I stay at Univeristy, and I will be back
after the Xmas holidays.
I PROMISE TO YOU (all) that during the holidays I will draw the plan of
the project with a cad, and then I will post the picture file with the
schematics, component list etc.
The components on board are:
- CPU 68000 or 010 10MHz
- Duart MC68681
- two Eproms 27c128 (faster than 200ns better if 120ns)
- two rams 6264 (better than 120ns)
- Max232 (maxim or ICL232 from Intersil, or TSC232 from teledyne etc)
- 74xx04
- 74xx00
- 74xx08
- 74xx32
- 74xx138
- One cristal 10 MHz and one 3.6864MHz
- some (many) 100 nf capacitors
- 7805 (5V voltage regulator)
- Some 3Kohms resistors
Many of these components could be found in used boards and so are very cheap.
I spent less than 20$ using some recycled components.
- About software, I used a monitor with an in-line assembler and many system
routines.
Please wait till 1993!!
Good Xmas and happy new Year!!
Renzo
