OS-9 is ROMable and real time. It's also
multi-tasking and modular.

There is a good selection of development
tools, as well as application software.

The other major real time system is
VRTX which as far as I can tell doesn't
have the array of development tools that
OS-9 has, mainly because it seems to be
limited to controller applications whereas
OS-9 spans controller and business
applications. OS-9 can be used as a
full multi-user system or on the otherhand,
it can be used to control a production
line.

Cheers! -- Jim O.
