I converted a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy GIF to
a StartupScreen using GIFConverter 2.2.10. It looks great, but
the screen stutters when the startupscreen loads. By this I mean
that you can see the image begin at the top and work its way down.
The effect isn't extreme, but it is noticable.
This is on an LC with 512K VRAM and a 12"RGB. The startup screen
has a lot of black in it. Would that cause the stuttering. I have converted
GIFS before as deskpictures, and don't recall this problem.

Thanks to those who reply
