I got a mail-order offer for TaxCut from MECA (the Managing Your Money
folks) and decided to take them up on it. I just got the "headstart"
version over the weekend, haven't gotten it installed yet, but did scan
through the manual. If the software lives up to the manual, I'll be happy.

This is a Mac version of a DOS product, but it looks like they've done as
good a job on the port as they did with MYM. From a quick perusal of the
manual, it doesn't look like a DOS application on a Mac screen, unlike what
ChipSoft did to (formerly very nice) MacInTax.

Warning - MECA has only ported a few state versions (including California,
thankfully) to the Mac thus far. That may be a problem for users in some
states.
