This may be more appropriate in another forum, but... We have three networks of Mac SEs and a handfule of Pluses. Every once in awhile, some wiseacre decides he's gonna have some fun with us and reformats the drive and installs a minimal system on it. Is there currently a SCSI driver that, once installed, will prevent this without a password? What I am looking for is: Driver level Only requires a password if user boots from floppy or tries to erase the hard drive Shreds the floppy if password is wrong after a operator-selectable number of times Does such a beast exsist? If not, how difficult would it be to implement? If it does, where can I get it, and how much will it cost me? Thanks very much in advance! Bruce W.
