Yep, just use MyPageSetup.  A PD program that allows you to change the
defaults on the currently selected printer.  Since it modifies the
resource fork it's totally fail-safe and survives printer changes, even
copying of the printer drivers from one MAC to another.  I don't know
where I picked it up... good luck findind it.
