Need a SLIDESHOW application...

Would anyone know of a good slideshow application that will display
high-resolution (1000x1000 and more) color graphics that have been
scanned/created in a paint application?

I've tried Gallery, but it crashes frequently, which rules it out
for demostrations. (BTW, I'm showing graphics of celluar mechanisms
to a class I am teaching and I's using the mac to do it...)

Any help would be greatly appriciated.
