Question on MS Word 5.1

Does anyone know if Microsoft Word 5.1 is script savvy?  I put together a
version of 7.0.1 with English and Hebrew scripts which works quite well at
switching between the two languages.  Finding a word processor that handles
multiple scripts correctly turns out to be a more difficult task.  Word would
be my wife's first choice if it met this requirement but if anyone wants to
make other recommendations, I'm interested in hearing them.
