< Hello. I am currently using Alias Sketch! for modelling / rendering, and
would like to be able to take my models from Sketch! and animate them.>

It depends on what kind of animation you want to do, and how complex the
models are. Unfortunately, I haven't yet used Sketch! so have no experience
with moving models created from Sketch! into MM3D or anything else. The two
animation programs I use the most are Infini-D and MM3D. I like the way MM3D
animation is created - I think it's a lot easier to create complicated
animation with Ease In and Ease Out etc, then it is in Infini-D. However, MM3D
I find gets bogged down and rather slow when you have complex models. You want
the fastest Mac you can get with the most memory.
Infini-D, I think, performs better, but the animation is key frame based, and so I find it harder to create fluid stuff.
If you've got the bucks, you might want to look at Electric Image, which is similar
to MM3D in the way you create animations, but performance is better (but you
could buy a Quadra for the difference in price!)
