Hello, I have a question about ileMaker Pro speed. Actually we run this application on a 20 Mac network. The server (where we store the database files) itself is a Mac Quadra 950 running AppleShare 3.0, and connected through Ethernet. We always work on the same 4 major databases. Actually, the first user turning on his Mac starts FileMaker. Then every user is a client to his database. I've heard that letting start FileMaker on the server itself instead of a user's Mac with the requested databases is faster. Is it true that we access the dabase faster when running on the server ? Thanks for your help !
