My apologies if this is a FAQ. Using the Find and Change feature of MacWrite, how does one specify non-printable characters? Based on my experience with Unix, I tried \t (backslash-t) for tab and it worked, but \n (backslash-n) for newline did not. Also, are there equivalents to the Unix regular expression metacharaters to signify that a string occurs at the start or end of a line? If these features exist, where would one find a reference for them? I am most likely to see replies by e-mail, though I will try to get back to this newsgroup by week's end. Thanks a million in advance. Andrew Robinson
