My fax line is already my third phone line. I expect Mac software
written by other professionals to be at least as good as my
professional work.

Thank you. It would be nice if the Mac + modem could do this, but
I really didn't expect it to.

Are you a pro? If so, what have you written so I can avoid it?

You should be able to turn Mac software on without having to
read a manual. Shortcuts should be documented in the software
so they can be learned as you work with the software.

Read the manual yourself. FaxStatus is a desk accessory that
shows you the progress of a fax transmission. It does not allow
you to turn the fax drivers on or off.

Thank you, I will.
