I have a rumoured fix (I haven't tried it, let me know if it works).

I quote:

"The YARG 0 resource contains a sequence of 2-byte numbers, each
of which is the country code of a country in which AD refuses
to run. Change the appropriate number and all is well."

The country codes are the ones you'll find in the pop-up menus if you use
ResEdit to edit the int1 and intl resources in the System file.

Further rumours suggest that the YARG 0 resource is only checked when AD is
installed and run for the first time, and is then deleted by the program.

If you try this, please let me know how you get on.

REMEMBER: I haven't confirmed this. You try it strictly at your own risk.

Personally, I went the StuffIt route instead. If Salient are going to try
and rip me off with inflated prices and crippled software, I'll take my money
elsewhere.

Macintosh System 7.1 -- just say no. If I'd wanted to pay $50 for OS upgrades
I'd have bought an IBM.
