Mac Ghostscript 2.2.5 help

I've just downloaded Mac GhostScript 2.2.5 and am trying to get it to run. I
am having no luck. I open a file from the MacGS window and am then presented
in the command window with an unexpected error -21 and what looks vaguely
like a stack dump. How do I get this program to work?
