I don't have Quicken for the Mac, but I have tried MYM (latest version
on the Mac) and I think it's home finances module does not work as well
as Quicken, for which I have version 4.0 for the PC.  Considering that
I will probably be spending 90% of my time in home finances and the rest
in others, I think MYM home finances does not come close to an ancient
version of quicken.

Now, speaking of mac and pc versions, a Comp-USA store recently opened
in Pittsburgh and I was dissapointed to see that they carry 8 rows of
software products for pc and only 1 row for macs.  To make things worse,
the Windows version of Quicken cost only $23 and Mac version cost $43 !!!
And to make things EVEN WORSE, the $23 windows version of Quicken can
do A HECK OF A LOT MORE, than the $43 mac version !!! (pc version has
an invesment module for tracking stocks, mutual funds, etc and can
import stock quotes directly from prodigy !)

I'm not surprised why Macs have a hard time beating pc's on the market.
