I would suggest that you give Aldus a call and explain the situation to them. They should be amenable to giving you the new version without any upgrade price. If some person on their end tells you differently, go up the ladder to a higher person and tell them, "This is not acceptable." The only problem that I see is if you haven't sent in your registration card.
