Is there any way to get Excel 4.0 to deal with a string which is GREATER than 255 characters in length? I'm writing a macro to compile a bunch of data, and need to be able to get more than 255 characters into one cell. Thus far, I split my 'collector' string into to separate names, keeping each below the 255 character threshold. However, the only way I can see to get both items into the same cell is to do a FORMULA(save1&save2, reference) and this of course truncates the strings at 255 characters TOTAL. Help! Surely there is a good way to do this kind of thing...e-mail and posted replies appreciated! Paul -- | Paul E.
