Sorry about the stupid misspelling in my query. Of cource it's
SPEECH SYNTHESIS I'm interested in.

*Does anyone have information about possibilities for speed synthesis
*under System 7. As stated in Tech. Note 268, Apple no longer supports
*Macintalk, although even version 1.1 partly works in my Mac with a
*SpeechLab application. However, the note includes very serious warnings
*not to use it. So, are there any alternatives, either commercial or free.
*Any hints appreciated.
