rfrost@degas.jrc.flinders.edu.au (Richard Frost) writes: [ wants Mac equivalent to UNIX cron program ] While it doesn't have all the timing options of cron, QuicKeys allows "Timer Options" to be associated with any macro. This allows a macro to be fired off at a particular time and (if desired) at specified intervals afterward. A macro can (amongst a myriad of other things!) launch an application and even pass it some AppleEvents if necessary. It's a great little program.
