But beware, as we write the stuff there is in an early stage of

Well... you can go to the Full Group List, select the group you want
to re-read read articles in and 'Mark Unread'. Open the group...
voila.

In fact, it saves .newsrc format: group name, ':' for subscribed
groups, '!' for unsubscribed groups, followed by a list of read
article numbers. No article numbers? Nothing read...

Mind you, if you make mistakes and goof up the file format newsreaders
are prone to crash.
