I'm working with someone using FileGuard on a Sys 7 Mac attached to
a serial ImageWriter. Of all the apps on the machine, MS-Word is a
troublemaker cuz it refuses to print to the ImageWriter in anything
but draft mode.

FileGuard has been used to lock the System Folder, so I assume maybe
either a) the ImageWriter driver is trying to write to itself, or
b) maybe some TrueType font code is writing to the System???

FileGuarded machines under Sys6 weren't a problem. Turning off FileGuard
makes the problem go away. Only MS-Word has this problem.

I know this isn't much to go on but does anyone have some clues?
