The Copperplate font he sent you seems to be a bitmapped font (as 
evidenced by the extension ".screenfonts").  So yes, you do seem to be 
missing the outline file for that font.

I don't know what the outline font's filename is, but he *should* be 
able to check the fonts folder(s) on his Mac and figure out which one he 
needs to send you.

Or, as others have suggested, he could just open the EPS file on his 
Mac, select all the text in the document, use the "create outlines" 
command, then resave it.  That will change the text into graphics, so 
you won't need the fonts.
